“I don’t think a great photograph shows you a place. I think it puts you in one.”
Some photographers find their subject. Mine found me — off the coast of Maui, Hawaii, hovering to photograph an oceanic manta ray when a whale shark glided silently into the frame. I pressed the shutter. The result is one of my favourite images — and a perfect example of what thirty years behind the lens teaches you: always be ready, because the ocean writes its own story.
My goal has always been the same: to create images that don’t just show you a place — they put you there. To let you feel the current, sense the scale, experience the fragility and the beauty of a world most people will never see firsthand. Whether I’m hovering next to a hammerhead in Hawaii, standing at dawn on a street in Zurich, or watching light filter through a shipwreck in the Caribbean — I’m always chasing that moment of connection between image and viewer.
Over thirty years I’ve traveled to five continents — Europe, Africa, Asia, North America, and South America — visiting more than sixty countries, logging thousands of dives, and millions of miles in pursuit of images worth bringing home. Every print I offer is a piece of that journey, produced on museum quality canvas or metal and built to last a lifetime on your wall.
I’m glad you’re here. Look around, dive deep, and if something moves you — it can be yours.
